今天要來試做Hot Cross buns
我記得以前在high school 上家政課曾經有做過一次
不過是不同的食譜~ 用發粉的
印象中很難吃 -_-
好久沒做了~ 這次找到了Allyson Gofton的食譜
希望做出來比較讚
先貼食譜~ 晚上再來烤
成功了會貼照片ㄛ~
不成功就....還是貼上來給大家笑笑啦
Ingredients |
4 cups high grade flour |
1 tsp salt |
1/2 tsp each ground allspice, mixed spice, cinnamon, nutmeg |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1 1/2 tsp dried yeast or 1 1/2 tblsp Surebake |
1 cup warm milk |
100 grams softened butter |
2 eggs |
1 cup mixed dried fruit |
Crosses |
1/2 cup flour |
1 tblsp butter |
1/4 tsp baking powder |
milk |

Method |
1. | Put the flour, salt, spices and brown sugar into a food processor and pulse to sift. | 2. | Stir the yeast and milk together and set aside in a warm place for 15 minutes or until the mixture is frothy. | 3. | Beat the eggs and softened butter into the frothy mixture. | 4. | With the motor running pour the yeast mixture down the feed tube as fast as the flour can absorb it to form a soft dough. Process the mixture for 1 minutes. Add the dried fruit and pulse to blend. | 5. | Turn the dough over in a greased bowl and cover with greased plastic wrap. Set aside in a warm place for about 1 hour until the dough has doubled in bulk. | 6. | Turn out onto a lightly floured board and divide into 16 equal portions. Roll into balls and place on a greased baking tray with about 1cm between each bun. | 7. | Cover with a clean tea towel and set aside in a warm place for about 30 minutes until well risen. Brush with milk. Pipe thin crosses onto the buns . | 8. | Bake at 190 degrees Celsius for about 20-25 minutes. Brush with the sugar glaze just before they come out of the oven. Cool on a cake rack. |

先把麵團弄好~ 放在溫暖的地方發一下
然後分成一塊一塊~滾圓~ 再發一次
發好把cross弄上去 (ㄚ桑偷懶~ 用刀劃兩刀就算了)
拿去烤就可以啦
烤好再刷上糖漿~ 才會亮亮的
結論是~ 不是很成功
因為麵團有點太溼~
越發越濕
所以ㄚ桑又揉了很多乾粉進去
烤起來變得不像麵包 -_- 像饅頭
不過~ 還是很好吃啦~
下次再試一次

今天圖換了ㄛ~
看起來漂亮多了
有試著弄那個十字上去
可是 -_- 可能太稀了吧
一烤就見了~ 跟麵包溶成一體 -_-
不過~ 這次的超好吃ㄛ~ 終於像麵包了
